for about a year, lucky brand has had grant street all to themselves, catching the traffic from coach, banana republic and nine west for those looking for nice but not super expensive “designer” jeans. now, with the closure of nine west and west coast leather moving into the sf centre, joes jeans and seven for all mankind are poised to move in on some of lucky’s market share.
the 1500 sq. ft. joe’s store (their second in the country) is set to open next month, and will feature their complete line, plus belts and handbags. no word on when the seven store will open, but you can be sure that it will also carry outerwear, bags and accessories, kids and yes, denim.
