resort 2016: victoria beckham.

collections

i’ve become quite the fan of victoria beckham; she has really grown as a designer, not only with accessories and denim, but in her ready to wear and victoria lines (i wish it weren’t so expensive, but i digress). she didn’t get too fancy with resort, but did show some interesting takes on evening, like a sequin shirt paired with satin waist cropped trousers (my favorite look), or a white fit and flare midi dress. in her world, fringe is still a thing, but in a subtle way, like on the coat above or the car wash version on a fitted dress. i’m also really into her use of pins—to close a shirt or blazer or secure a drape on a dress.
