in the age of tricked out footwear, there’s been a movement towards pumps and sandals that are decidedly minimal. like the new saint laurent accessories, the lines are clean, with the interest in metals, textures (like suede, stamped croc, and snakeskin), and treatments (hello hologram). in keeping with my love of high and low fashion, i’m especially loving the pairs by proenza schouler and zara, but really they’re all gorgeous—and equally perfect with a pair of boyfriend jeans as a feminine cocktail dress.
