last thursday, i attended the academy of art graduation fashion show at the palace of fine arts, a fitting location for a display of such beauty and talent. there were nineteen collections presented from bachelors and masters degree students in womenswear, menswear, textile design, and jewelry & metal arts with something for everyone. i mean, can you believe that this work is from students? i would love to have any one of the pieces above to wear right now. well not right this second because it is in the seventies, but you catch my drift. simply incredible.
