i had a pretty important meeting on tuesday, and i wanted to look stylish and confident but also wear color. as someone from the east coast, i sometimes struggle with a “fall back” look, too easily falling back into wearing black and grey. i’ve already mentioned that this is my favorite skirt, so why not pair it with my new prabal gurung for target t-shirt? i added more color in the form of a deep plum fur snood and some colorblock pumps. in the past i may have called something like this look “too much,” but for my meeting and my evolving style, it feels just right.
