i’m a firm believer in tailoring pieces to fit your frame. this sweatshirt is from a men’s line, and the sleeves were too long and too bunchy, so i cut them off, rolled the cuffs and now it’s the perfect bracelet length. the jeans were too long (why are most jeans made in a 36″ inseam?) and when i hemmed them, it broke up the line. my solution? chop them off above the ankle and pull some of the threads out. now they work with flats or to show off a great pair of heels.
