over the past few years, i have really fallen in love with band of outsiders. scott sternberg has straddled the line between masculine (the boy line) and feminine (the girlier girl line, launched earlier this year), and this season he outfitted his girls in boat hats, pleated shirtdresses, ticking stripe pants, navy anoraks, army colored overalls and toile suiting separates. the girl line was heavy on the florals and with degradé maxi skirts, pointelle trimmed minis, and drawstring waist camis. also high on my wishlist for spring? the banded and striped sandals…with its ankle strap and manageable heel, i can see myself living in them.
