hilary swank is an actress who has done some adventurous fashion editorials. most of those have been with michael thompson, for w and for vitals. now hilary is back for the january issue of w, shot by steven klein in a very 90s-esque cover (reminiscent of christy turlington), and an ed which is sultry and mysterious.
as per usual, this issue of w is a bit on the thin side…only 2 eds (including the hilary one); the other is “opening act” by claudia knoepfel and stefan indlekofer that showcases the best of the spring collections. this issue is not worth buying imo (unless you’re a swank fan)…otherwise you can see most of the content on the website.
