last thursday night, bay area fashion fans flocked to pacific heights for the grand opening of the alice + olivia boutique, hosted by atlantic-pacific’s blair eadie. the store was packed with those enjoying the music, sweets, rosé champagne (my favorite!), and of course, the fashion. stacey bendet started the line in 2002 while on a quest to find the perfect pair of pants, and now the line includes everything from sparkly dresses and feminine tops, to girls’ wear and footwear. the hallmark of the line is color and prints, as bendet incorporates her loves of culture, music, art and vintage fashion into every a + o collection. the store is light and airy, with racks arranged by color story, comfy couches to chill on (or for your significant other to relax while waiting for you), and armoires full of stunning jewelry. i’ve already spied some pieces that i want to go back and try on…definitely add a + o to your list when in the area. thanks so much to a + o and blair for a fun evening!
