the moods of the shows to this point has been more pre-spring than full on spring. not so with tracy reese, who loves bringing out the bright and girly in everyone. she also brings out the minority models as there was more on this runway than chanel iman.
there was everything from graphic hawaiian print tube tops, turquoise string bikinis, tangerine rompers, sequin tanks with pinstriped loose trousers, high waist pantsuits, to dresses in hot pink wraps, violet deep v tapestry, lemon multitiered chiffon, knee length strapless, and 40s styles with shadow stripes. my faves? the khaki cotton pieces with bronze nailhead trim: a pretty strapless dress and a cute suit with a puff short sleeve belted jacket and matching cuffed shorts.
