one of the original purveyors of minimalism, calvin klein went back to that starkness for fall. francisco costa abandoned the mostly dress lineup from spring, and went with more suiting and coats with hints of texture. the looks included hidden placket jackets, a-line skirts, skinny pants, and pieced felt shifts. coats came in coccoon shapes, laser cut lapels or boiled wood. for the show’s dressier moments, there were cropped satin pants, tops that were sequin & sleeveless or long sleeved and sheer, and accordion pleated metallic gowns.
