last weekend, d and i were at club monaco, and i saw some fabulous sweaters that he was encouraging me to buy (how unlike him)! i felt like i couldn’t pull the trigger since in that moment i was wearing a denim mini, t-shirt, and sandals. now that we’re on the cusp of fall (at least in san francisco), i can start really looking at inspiration for how i want to dress in the months ahead. while i’m still pinning prints and patterns (this look on shiona turini is a fave), i’m leaning towards simple, cleaner looks based in black and neutrals. midi skirts are still high on my list, along with slouchy knits and coats, chunky sweaters, and suits with sneakers. also on my radar? the new wider leg, cropped pant as seen on camille.
