normally when i want a fancy shoe, i always reach for a heel. but after i bought my valentino rockstud flats, i realized the power of flats as something that could be really dressed up without feeling dressed down. even though the initial price was steep (believe me, when sitting in saks, i thought, ‘i’m really going to pay this for a flat?’), the cost per wear on them is pretty low now as i’ve been wearing them all. the. time. and while that’s a good thing in terms of economy, i also don’t want to wear them out. i’ve been searching for some other fun pointy-toe flats and found a wide range of styles in a variety of pricepoints. what are your favorites and are you into wearing fancy flats for a night out?
