in the fashion world, tweed was once thought to be the domain of chanel, be it gabrielle chanel or karl lagerfeld. but in recent years, jack mccollough and lazaro hernandez have shown that they are equally deft with the fabric. for resort, the entire first segment was devoted to it, in very not-ladies-that-lunch silhouettes that work for a multitude of ages. from there it was fishnet knits, grommets, and tropical prints, all with strategic slits and cutouts. prim and proper, this is not.
