for the past couple of years, i’ve been waiting for narciso rodriguez to have a real breakthrough, especially after getting an influx of funding from liz claiborne. and each season, i’ve been disappointed. i fell in love with his razor cut suits, sleek skirts and sexy dresses that looked great on every woman. this season, he went back to sexy in his own way…now his looks are a bit roomier but still with excellent seaming details and cuts that are flattering to the female form. my favorite looks were the day dresses, complete with popover tops, the close-to-the-body jackets, the woven tweed bustier dress, and the leather top worn with a feather fringe skirt. the colors were gorgeous as well, going from his standard white, black and grey to worker orange, soft blue, and pale green.
