those herve leger bandage dresses have been showing up on every starlet from l.a. to new york the past year, but i’ve yet to see one in a store. i’ve checked the usual suspects (neiman’s, saks, etc.) and come up empty. even the bcbg flagship on powell and geary doesn’t carry the line (which is now designed by max azria), probably to keep the two lines separate (i mean, how many navy pinstripe suit wearers do you think would wear a deep v-neck curve hugging dress)? but now the wait (at least in san francisco) is over as azria is opening a store in the san francisco centre not only for the leger line, but also for max azria, the higher end line which has a small corner of the bcbg flagship. no word on when the store will open, but finally everyday people can pour themselves into a bandage dress. not sure if that’s a good thing or not…
