Helmut Lang has quit his namesake house after butting heads with the anti-christ, I mean, Patrizio Bertelli, aka Mr. Miuccia Prada. His resignation comes two months after another high profile designer, Jil Sander, left her house again after struggling to come to an agreement as to how hew line should be run. Unlike Dior, YSL and others which tapped new designers to bring life into the house, Helmut Lang can’t exist without Mr. Lang. I guess Bertellli wanted all the money to himself…
