there are times that i love wearing all black. but there is something bold and powerful about wearing a bold color, especially this head turning purple. this kind of dress was all over the balenciaga runways, but h&m had a great version for under $60. instead of going neutral on accompanying pieces, i went bolder with a red-orange suede pump and my favorite light blue distressed jacket. and while a dress like this can seem trendy, a good matte jersey dress can last you many seasons. the ruching on this one is very slimming, and you can wear this through winter with boots and a faux fur coat or parka, and then in spring with sandals sans coat.
