we’ve reached the end of another year and all i can say is “wow.” it went by way too fast. while 2017 was a rebuilding year for me personally, i felt 2018 was all about family—both blood and chosen. i spent more time back on the east coast that any other year, starting with a trip in february for my nephew’s christening. i got to travel to some places i haven’t been, like maui, and others that i explored in new ways, like downtown l.a. and nyc. i got to work with some amazing brands like sezané, eileen fisher, and reformation and those that i have loved for years like bhldn, rachel roy and lulu frost. i got back to running on a regular basis (even doing a few 5k’s) and pushed myself more at work (i’m especially proud of our recent spring shoot). i’ve also started pinning more—i forgot how great (and addicting) pinterest is

i’m so excited for 2019 but first, i’m going to mexico city for the holidays! after following along on sarah’s amazing trip, i started planning a trip of my own. and i’ll be traveling with my friend lauren, who constantly inspires me with her (solo) wanderlust. it’s just the jolt i need to jumpstart me into the new year. as always, i’m thinking about this ever-evolving space, and i’d love to hear what you want to see. send me an email or comment below. above all, thank you for visiting my little corner of the interwebs…i appreciate every comment, like, and email. i hope you have a wonderful holiday and new year!
