can you believe that fall 2018 fashion week—i mean month—is less than a month away? so crazy. i’ve been stalking the pre-fall collections to gain some insight into what the next big things are and i loved this one from brock collection. i first got turned on to them a few years ago, and i love their take on grown up glamour especially for day. co-founders laura vassar and kristopher brock call it “raw and romantic,” and this pre-fall collection takes that to the next level. i’m normally not so into romanticism, but there’s something about this—like the lingerie inspired bustier over a crisp shirtdress or a modern coatdress in a prairie-like jacquard—that i’m really into. and if you are too, you’re in luck: the collection is available for pre-order on moda operandi right now.
