xmodelcitizen at thefashionspot said this about miuccia prada:

i have a feeling that miuccia could throw crap on a canvas, wrap it around a model, push her onto the runway and everyone would oooh and aaah, and put it in vogue.

i tend to agree, even though her collections are usually head and shoulders above many others who get press and editorials with much less. for fall, she continued to explore textures as she did in s/s, and added

the pieces included double breasted coats and jackets, furry vests, skirt, and coats; grandfather style cardigans, skirts in wool knit and leather, textured sweater sets, crinkled silk jackets, and boxy shifts.

in the last part of the show, she showed ombre dresses, vests, and coats, some with sleeveless fur tops underneath, then combined the fur with plastic fringe (not unlike the leather fringe from spring) at the waist of coats, as a vest over a black crinkled silk skirt, or allover in a single breasted coat.

the shoes and accessories, as usual, were also interesting: two band elastic pumps with thin legwarmers attached, fuzzy ski hats, futuristic metal and leather headbands and spectacles, and bags with attached “sleeves.”
