the new look: jacket/shirt.

i’ve been wearing this madewell jean jacket on repeat recently—tied around my waist, draped on my shoulders, or fully buttoned up, it’s a great finishing layer for the finicky san francisco weather. i went back into my blog archives and rediscovered the wear anywhere series, and the post on the jean jacket in particular…i was inspired by the look in the upper right here. just added my own twist with lace up heels and a statement bag (the perfect excuse to break out one of my first designer bag purchases from the first vuitton/sprouse collaboration).

i’m on the east coast right now enjoying some time with my family, and then heading to new york for fashion week. follow along via instagram for pics from the shows plus other shenanigans…
