nicole richie graces the cover of vogue italia as the focal point of an editorial shot by steven meisel that mocks tabloid magazines that features b-list celebs (although, at this point, nicole is a definite a-lister). the inside editorial also includes paris hilton, former n’syncer lance bass, angie harmon, carmen electra, ryan seacrest, kathy griffin, kevin federline (it’s not as bad as you’d think) and and models amber valletta, naomi campbell and carolyn murphy. the editorial is a great comment on our times that anyone can basically be famous for doing nothing (the models excluded), and that meisel, who has produced other stunning eds on hollywood, plastic surgery, and gun control, is a genius.
