a few weeks ago, it was reported that proctor and gamble was rebooting rochas, which it shuttered in 2006, sending its desiger olivier theyskens to nina ricci. now comes word that they are in fact relaunching the line with marco zanini as creative director. he will present his first collection this march during f/w 09.10 fashion week in paris. i have no problems with rochas coming back, but why zanini? if he couldn’t save his job at halston, then how on earth could he work magic at rochas? only time will tell, but i’m not holding my breath…
