i remember when these pants first hit the j.crew website, and it was love at first sight. knowing my history with their pants, i was afraid to order online and was happy to find them in-store. after making them a bit shorter and sewing the front pockets shut, they were perfect. i’ve worn them with a slouchy white t-shirt and a silk shirt, but for a work meeting, i decided to make them the basis of a suit. i felt confident and polished…and the presentation was a hit.
