the new look: denim in the park.

trying out a version of this look, minus the belt. since this photo was taken a few weeks ago, i’ve worn this skirt three times, with an oversized black sweater, a cropped white tee and bomber jacket, and a men’s button down shirt (j.crew’s slim fit are my favorite). it’s become the thing i reach for when i need a failsafe look, where before i would put on a pair of jeans. will the denim skirt become the new skinny jean? who knows…
