when it comes to special occasion dressing, anthropologie and more recently bhldn have always been at the top of my go-to list. the styles are unique, there’s something for everyone from brides, mother of the bride, guests, to cocktail and holiday parties and even better, prices for just about every budget. plus their customer service is top-notch; if you have questions about sizing (which i did about this dress; i was in between sizes), need a swatch, or styling advice, they’ve got you covered with a knowledgeable team & quick responses.
when the bhldn team asked me to pick a dress from their new collection, i immediately gravitated towards the santiago. it is so intricate and interesting; i’ve never seen anything like it. i really love lace, but sometimes it’s hard to find a lace dress that feels sophisticated and not too bridal-y. this one has raised colorblock applique atop a lace foundation that give it a cool, dimensional look. it would be great for a formal wedding but could also be good for the ballet or a fancy night out. to keep the dress the focus, i added neutral accessories—a metallic sandal, black clutch, and sparkly earrings.
have some special occasions coming up? some of my other favorite dresses from the newest collection are below…do you have a fave?
bhldn dress c/o (comes in 3 colors, wearing a size 4), vince camuto sandals, vintage earrings, tom ford sunglasses, chanel bag, tom ford lipstick in so vain
