i’m a big fan of the satorialist. even though he shoots “real people,” most of them are in the fashion industry, so they have access to runway pieces. it’s always cool to see some of the things i see in runway shows on real people and see how it’s styled and more importantly, does it work.
the fact that the shoes and dress are balenciaga in the left outfit could seem fashion-victim-y, but the cool bag and red wayfayers give some individuality and quirkiness. i love the outfit on the right…the layering is nice, the purple shoes are cool and even though she mixes patterns, it doesn’t feel too much. what do you think of her realway outfits?
