just one look: jil sander s/s 2012.

as usual, there was buzz surrounding the jil sander show, but it wasn’t all devoted to the looks being shown on the runway. distractions about raf simons taking over at ysl aside, the collection was full of fifties-esque silhouettes in white, grass, and black, bold paisleys, exploded checks, and open knits, plus fun picasso prints woven into cropped sweaters. it was a fitting tribute to the chic, sleek, mid-century modern age.
