jill stuart went a bit darker this fall, with a deeper palette of black, navy and wine (the exception being a cream peplum pantsuit), mixed dark florals, re-embroidered lace with cut-outs, oversized peacoats with fur collars and swingy above the knee skirts. the burnished gold flapper dresses at the end of the show were a personal favorite…perfect for cocktail parties or topping with a chunky sweater and wearing as a skirt.
