karl lagerfeld used “hidden luxury” as the theme for chanel’s presentation. sending out the girls in one single line wearing black cloaks, they all stipped at the same time to reveal signature boucle suits in peach, lilac and fushia and dresses with oversized collars trimmed in lace and accessorized in burnished silver sequin camelias.

christian lacroix
continued to make the luxurious, grandiose yet completely wearable clothes that he is known for, sending models out in layers of chiffon curled and layered and coats with russian inspired embroidery and trimmed in fur. he also explored his ecclectic mix of textures and colors, with lace over damask and cool understated colors covering shocking pinks and oranges.
