oh proenza schouler, you’ve done it again. made me want sculptural jackets, speckle prints, and dresses that look like they’re made from carpet padding. then you mix it all together with flat shoes held together with two wide elastic straps, add in a new covetable bag (the ps elliot, which comes in a clutch, shoulder bag, and satchel) and put it to probably the soundtrack of the season (a remix of missy elliott’s “work it“) and you’ve got a hit. it was sporty (neoprene fabrics), sexy (strategic cutouts), sophisticated (hourglass suiting), and street—in other words, perfect for the proenza girl.
