the queen of fashion presented a stunning fall/winter 2005 collection yesterday that had her “getting back to basics.” no tricked out bags with robots or hats with feathers, just wonderfully decadent coats with frog closures, spare slip dresses with lace hems, and suits with grommets. and already, the editors are hailing it as what we need right now…but, of course.
another line that has it’s shaz together is Burberry Prorsum, headed by the gloriously cute Christopher Bailey. his collection was an homage to the 60s, with velvet jackets topping ruffled dresses, modern peacoats, and pleated plaid skirts.
for the most part, the milan shows are sucking ass…that god for paris (ysl, lanvin, rochas…i can’t wait!!)
