when it comes to trends, my motto is follow the ones that work for you, but don’t go broke doing so. i’ve been diligent about finding fall trends under $100, and making sure they work with pieces already in my closet. if you follow me on instagram, you know i’m already a big fan of my classic vans, plaid blazers, and statement earrings. i’ve already picked up this lace turtleneck from free people (comes in 7 colors), which looks great layered under blazers, jackets, and slip dresses. i’ve also bought these satin mules from mango which are a great cheaper version of the ones from the row that were everywhere this year. next on my list? a vinyl mini, an 80s style oversized knit, and a shorter floral dress (love the 40s/80s sleeves on this one from farrow).
