fall/winter 2016 new york: hellessy.

#NYFW collections

i love love love the fall collection from a new-ish brand i discovered hellessy. designer sylvie millstein launched her own line in fall 2013 with this philosophy: the simple core elements of a wardrobe, perfectly executed in sensual fabrics. since she worked in europe and asia, first in marketing with givenchy then in buying for chanel and harrods, she clearly understands what women want. on the surface, hellessy (a mashup of her and her kids’ names) could seem very similar to the row or protagonist, and in some ways it is, but she focuses on the little details that make the difference. check out more of the fall collection on vogue and pre-order the looks on moda operandi.
