happy tuesday! sorry for the radio silence around here, but i was in l.a. most of the week for our summer photoshoot. thankfully the weather was nice for our shoot but unfortunately it rained all of saturday when i had some free time. i still managed to make it to the broad and moca, plus did some window shopping in beverly hills. this look, mixing some work pieces with casual ones, is something i would have worn for a day like that if it weren’t raining. i’ve had this j. crew collection jacket for a long time (see it here, here, and here)—it’s such a classic shape that works with pretty much everything. i added more casual pieces, like a striped tee, girlfriend chinos (see them dressed up here), and old school vans. it’s a great way to give more life to your traditional work items and really get a good cost per wear out of them, especially if they are a higher price point.
