i have such fond memories of going to the ralph lauren at the bellevue when i lived in philadelphia. it felt like an opulent place to shop…i would pop into ralph to gawk at the runway pieces and check out the sale rack, then go to rizzoli bookstore and flip through fashion and art coffee table books. i picked up this sweater from there a few months before moving to san francisco, and i debated even bringing it with me. it never gets that cold in the city, i read, but i’m so glad i did…every time i pull it out, it reminds me of home.
