the new look: proportion play.

over the last few weeks, i’ve been prepping for our holiday photoshoot (search #brfsholiday14 on instagram for sneak peeks) and part of that has been learning about our new styling point of view we’ve been doing more playing with proportions, so why not give that a go in my day-to-day outfitting? not only am i pairing something long with something short, but something polished (a satin lapel tuxedo blazer) with something distressed (a frayed edge rainroad stripe denim mini). can’t wait to do more proportion mixing come fall, like long cardigans belted over dresses, or a cropped top with a maxi skirt.
