my first holiday look was all about workday-to-night, and the second was a new take on suiting. this look is all about the holiday dress, but in non-traditional colors. this dress mixed a few fall trends—brocade, colorblocking in knit melangé and cobalt blue, and a peplum hem. i also love that it’s made by asos africa, a fun collection of great separates and dresses in collaboration with soko kenya, which improves quality of life for people by helping them start businesses.
p.s. big thanks to the san francisco team of refinery 29, who featured this look in a roundup on holiday dressing. check it out if you haven’t already; it features some other fab ladies, each showing off their take on what is their go-to holiday look.
asos africa dress, gap faux fur jacket (old, love this burgundy one…on sale!) and tights, kenneth cole pumps (previously seen here), chanel bag, club monaco sunglasses, vintage necklace, noir long pendant, j. crew bracelet, bcbg ring
