was so excited to see the marissa webb spring show this season, especially given the buzz about her at work. there was just an article in the new york times about alexander wang, and the challenges of running two lines, and webb is doing that right now with her namesake line and banana republic. clearly she has jumped in with both feet on the latter, and based on what i saw from her spring collection, she hasn’t been slowing down there either. i mean, how chic are these black and white looks? i’m especially loving the trench-like jumper, buttoned over a longer top and leather leggings (it also came in olive, an olive dress version, and a white strapless midi gown) and the sheer outerwear.
