amber valletta, one of my favorite models from the 90s is back doing ads for stella mccartney for spring. the ads, art directed by m/m paris and shot by inez vanlamsweerde and vinoodh matadin, will start appearing in march mags. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s time for a bit of Amber,” declared McCartney. i wholeheartedly agree.
also in mccartney news, wwd reported today that the pregnant designer just signed a deal to design a line of bags for lesportsac. the limited edition line will debut in spring 2008 and will have 30-40 styles including multipurpose travel bags, luggage, baby accessories and totes for mothers with young children. the average price of a bag will be $200 to $250, and the line will be available at specialty retailers, stella mccartney stores, and lesportsac stores.
