stefano pilati seems to have a thing (at least the last few seasons) for supermodels. first it was gisele looking melancholy in the streets of paris, then kate moss, peering into the window of the ysl foundation, and last season, naomi campbell, was perched high on a table, a nasty shadow cast in her wake. now it’s claudia schiffer in front of the “y” in the hollywood sign. it’s perfect casting and the perfect concept for a collection so inspired by the saint laurent archives.
