bcbg has always (for me, at least) been a great place to pick up suiting, and the occasional dress for a wedding. a few years ago, max started showing two different collections, the more fashion-forward max azria, and the more mainstream bcbg. this bcbg collection seemed intent on rehashing old trends, mainly prada’s s/s 07 collection and just about everything at lanvin.
i did like the interesting real and faux layering and the asymetrical crystal pleat sleeve tops and the same pleating on cocktail dresses. definitely some pieces that will fit into my (pre) fall wardrobe.
