in the second of three shows he’s doing this season, max azria staged a runway show for hervé léger, which is enjoying a revival that started in spring 07.
i really loved this collection because it was sexy and sophisticated, but not over the top or vulgar. the color palette was a wonderfully muted (plum, steel grey, burgundy, navy, and soft gold), and there was more than just strapless bandage dresses to choose from. there was a lovely woven knit sweaterdress, feather and beaded short dresses, and high waist pants. for night, i liked the asymmetical neckline gown with chiffon skirt, short dresses with feather caplets and ombré shading.
