marc jacobs moved his marc by marc show to london this season to coincide with the opening of his new store in the mayfair district. and just because the show wasn’t in new york, doesn’t mean there was a lack of star power. marc recruited friends naomi campbell, selma blair, lisa marie, sofia coppola and zoe cassavetes to sit front row, and the collection did not disappoint.
the looks included plaid hip length toggle jackets, flippy wool miniskirts, fairisle crewneck sweaters, paperbag waist cropped pants, fur jackets with pompom drawstrings, and satin trim dropped waist dresses. the styling incorporated interesting layering, the accessories were cool as well, with worn leather duffels, chunky platform hiking boots, ribbed tights, and wool hats and berets with poms.
