with so many shows going on during fashion week, shows undoubtedly get lost in the shuffle. besides the show setting and music, the details are not only an interesting way to get the feel for a collection, but also get inside the designer’s mind, to see those fine points that other images may have missed. i’m loving the details from the dries van noten fall collection. dries is always masterful at mixing prints and textures, and this show was no exception as he got back to that after a few seasons away. i loved the beaded tee, the booties in emerald velvet and the mixed exotic sandal with a plexiglas heel. i can’t wait for fall to arrive again…
