more than half way through the year…can you believe it? as we head into the dog days of summer (depending on where you are), here’s what i’m loving and craving this month:
one. i recently discovered mirlo jewelry, and it’s perfect to wear everyday but still has a bit of an edge. i love that the rings can be stacked to create a whole new look.
two. this look from the michael kors fall collection is everything. a slip dress is definitely on my wishlist…i envision wearing it now with a lightweight duster and later on with a coat.
three. if you follow banana republic on instagram (and snapchat), they’ve been sharing sneak peeks of #thenewbr with creative director marissa webb. these shoes from the fall collection were the first thing i had to get and apparently marissa did too (see my pic)…love the navy suede and so comfy.
four. just picked up this pima cotton muscle tee from j. crew and promptly wore it out friday night. now thinking about getting other colors and also a pocket version from everlane.
five. pretty much the best looking lip crayon out there…and of course it’s from marc jacobs.
six. olivia palermo seems to put things together in a fresh way and this look is no exception. a longer shirt (like this one from j.crew) belted over a shorter layer, like shorts or a mini.
seven. also on my wishlist is a longer vest to layer over dresses and skinny jeans or pants. this one from vince has luxurious leather trim.
