after a sporty and futuristic turn last season, alber elbaz returned to the voluminous silhouettes and colors that made him successful, while adding some edgy extras like exposed zippers, funky beading, and interesting styling.

the models all sported short, choppy black wigs ala rachel alexander, and the looks included tulip skirts, bermuda shorts, wide shoulder dresses and tops, double breasted tuxedo “dresses,” fur hem skirts, sheaths in a solid burgundy or black or two-toned navy and black, seamed pencil skirts with square beading, ruffle back dresses, belted jackets and dresses, asymmetrical close anoraks, and flowy capes.

accessories included multistrap platform mary janes, patent knee-high and ankle length boots with velcro straps, large petal flower pins, cuff bracelets, earrings and necklaces, and flat accordian bags with a metal strap.
