marc jacobs continued with the layering he started exploring in his stellar f/w collection, and added a bit of 20s flapper to the mix. glitz was also back, in jeweled headbands and cloche hats, metallic shoes and bags, and sequined polos and sequined circles embroidered on skirts.

this coat was done by marc for resort before, but this time, he took away all color, and added a slouchier collar and sloped shoulders. for daytime, there was also boyfriend trousers, shiny mens-style button down shirts, cotton aviator jackets, triple hem silk floaty skirts, and tulip hem cotton shorts.

some of the dress looks included a “shingled” v-neck dress worn with cutoff fishnets, short striped silk surplice tunics, ruffled lace dress with dropped waist and micropleated hem, sliced t-shirt tank dress, sheared tulle bomber jackets, and deconstructed cashmere.

as usual, the accessories also took center stage, with bright holographic sequin headbands, fishnet fingerless gloves, huge beading on bags, metallic leather cloche hats. other highlights included patent leather cone heels, lurex weave wedge sandals, and flat japanese style sneakers. the bags also included an updated stam in a larger quilted pattern and canvas exterior and diamond quilted totes.
