taking it back in time again, with a jacket from my own archives. back when november when i was on the east coast, i went through some of my trunks to purge and donate stuff i had kept at my parents house when i loved to san francisco. it was there that i found this bongo oversized black denim moto jacket, and as soon as i saw it, memories of where i wore it came flooding back. because it’s a bit large, it’s great for layering, which meant it would be perfect for the left coast. after a trip to the cleaners, it was as good as ever.
it’s pretty crazy that this jacket is probably over 25 years old and still not only looks great, but is so of the moment. but that’s how it is in fashion—what goes around, comes around.
